VIRGINIA ARLOTTO

VIRGINIA ARLOTTO

Virginia Arlotto is an Italian interior architect and designer based in Milan, working at the intersection of interior architecture and collectible design. Her approach is rooted in one essential idea: design as storytelling. Each piece is conceived as an evocative narrative, adventurous, soulful, and quietly precise. Her language blends architectural rigor with a couture-like sensibility, balancing bold volumes, disciplined proportions, and a nuanced palette of neutral tones, enriched by raw yet refined materials. Structure and softness coexist throughout her work, giving rise to sculptural objects with a subtle, magnetic presence.

As Founder and Creative Director of her studio, Virginia develops a cross-disciplinary practice where space, craftsmanship, and object design inform one another.

Trained in architecture in Italy and in the United States, she has shaped a vision in which material research and formal clarity sit at the core of every project, from private commissions to commercial spaces and furniture design.

Her pieces are developed in close collaboration with Italian artisans and produced in limited series or bespoke editions. Each creation reflects an exacting savoir-faire, guided by a deep attention to texture, tactility, and longevity. Sustainability is woven naturally into her process through the use of raw materials sourced from nature and designed to endure. Virginia Arlotto explores a controlled tension between strong geometric forms and tactile details, always introducing a touch of the unexpected. Her work embodies a timeless aesthetic, precise yet expressive, where each object becomes both architecture and presence.
