BOGDAN CIOCODEICĂ

BOGDAN CIOCODEICĂ

Bogdan Ciocodeică is a Romanian architect and designer whose work operates across architecture, collectible furniture, and interior design. Trained in architecture, he developed an early interest in spatial composition, material experimentation, and the way objects interact with their surroundings. After gaining experience in several architectural practices, he founded his own studio in 2015 and gradually built a body of work in which space, object, and material are considered as parts of a shared language. His practice is distinguished by a strong attention to proportion, material presence, and the atmosphere created through form.

His studio works across residential and hospitality projects, as well as exhibitions, objects, and limited-edition furniture. This diversity informs a coherent approach, guided by the same sensitivity to volume, use, and the experience of space.

Through his creations, Bogdan Ciocodeică has developed a personal language often associated with a form of expressive minimalism. Architectural lines coexist with freer volumes, while materials play a central role in the perception of each piece. His work has been presented internationally through galleries, design platforms, and numerous publications dedicated to contemporary design. Recipient of several national and international distinctions, he continues to reflect on the role furniture plays in shaping an interior. His creations express a vision of design in which architecture, object, and material belong to the same whole.
