Dooq Details is a Portuguese furniture brand whose studio develops collections through research into art, design and material detail. Its approach begins with contrasts: soft upholstery and hard stone, open frames and generous volumes, smooth lacquer and textured surfaces. These differences give individual pieces their character while connecting the wider collection. The brand works with Portuguese production and craftsmanship, bringing together timber, rattan, marble, brass, copper, glass and fabrics. Colour is considered alongside shape and proportion, changing the reading of a familiar chair, cabinet or table. The result is a varied furniture vocabulary built around the close observation of surfaces and construction.

Collaborations with Studiopepe, Ferriani Sbolgi and Pietro Franceschini introduce distinct approaches within the collection. Mosaico explores rounded upholstery and connected volumes, Slide develops low seating with clear geometry, and Marlon combines thick cushions with open arches. Each family retains a recognizable outline across different scales.

The tables and storage pieces extend the same attention to material combinations. Milano places terracotta tiles beneath travertine surfaces, while Nouvelle Vague repeats ceramic reliefs around curved forms. Kisho uses patterned wood doors, stone feet and metal details to articulate a cabinet front. Plié brings rounded folds to reflective metal surfaces, and Playing Games assembles contrasting marble shapes into offset supports. These examples show how a small change in edge, texture or junction can establish the identity of a piece. Across the collections, Dooq Details connects decorative references with everyday functions, using Portuguese craftsmanship to develop expressive furniture for varied contemporary interior settings.
