IA KUTATELADZE
Ia Kutateladze is a multidisciplinary designer and artist from Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2016, she moved to Berlin, where she lives and works, and in 2019 she founded her own studio to develop a practice that moves freely between art and design. Working across functional and non-functional objects, Kutateladze uses material and form as tools to translate inner states into physical presence. Her work is guided by a desire to connect emotional and psychological processes, both personal and ambient, to experimentation in matter. Rather than imposing a rigid system, she embraces an intuitive approach where each piece evolves through making, allowing spontaneity, flow, and instinct to lead the process. Within this open framework, objects become carriers of memory, ways of being, and subtle shifts in perception.
