Mickaël Koska

Mickaël Koska is a French designer based in Marseille, where he founded his studio in 2013 after studying at École Boulle. Instinctive in his approach, he develops work guided by material, craftsmanship, and a strong Mediterranean sensibility. His collections draw from southern landscapes, mineral reliefs, clay soils, and local natural resources to create pieces with generous and immediately recognizable forms. Surrounded by exceptional French and Mediterranean workshops, he has built a universe shaped by the honesty of materials and a constant search for balance.

Convinced that elegant design lies in the quality of gesture and fabrication, Mickaël Koska collaborates with specialized artisans in order to preserve a deeply human dimension within each of his creations.

His furniture stands out through bold lines, sculpted volumes, and palettes inspired by Mediterranean landscapes. Ochres, water greens, purples, and mineral tones recall bastides, cabanons, and the light of the South, without ever becoming overly decorative. Through his pieces, Mickaël Koska develops a language that feels both restrained and expressive, supported by carefully selected natural materials. His work reflects a vision of design attentive to longevity, texture, and the presence of objects within a space. Each collection maintains a sense of controlled simplicity, capable of moving beyond trends while preserving a strong and immediately perceptible identity.
