NUMO
Vladimir Naumov is a designer, architect, and 3D artist whose practice explores how objects can carry emotion. Through his Numo collection, he re-frames the familiar, transforming everyday references into furniture that feels slightly “off” in the best way, unexpected, expressive, and strangely intuitive. His work plays with perception: what looks known reveals a new logic when approached, touched, and used. Rooted in observation and behavior, each piece becomes a character rather than a neutral object, inviting a different relationship to space.
Trained in art and architecture, Vladimir first developed his visual language through drawing before expanding into spatial design. After working in architecture, he moved into 3D to push experimentation faster, using digital tools as a way to test ideas without losing spontaneity. His process starts with handwriting: ideas noted on paper, then distilled into sketches and models until one concept insists on becoming real. This method keeps the work open and evolving, allowing accidents and intuition to guide structure. For Vladimir, making is an irresistible impulse, less a decision than a constant pull, where each object becomes a new attempt to materialize mood, tension, or softness. Numo remains an ongoing exploration: combining forms, textures, and styles across different worlds, and giving furniture a vivid identity that resonates beyond pure utility.
