VINCENT MAZENAUER
Vincent Mazenauer is a Swiss designer born in 1993 in Neuchâtel. Between French-speaking Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France, he developed a cosmopolitan perspective on objects. Self-taught, he launched in 2019 a contemporary design project defined by rigorous craftsmanship, informed by history, architecture, and engineering. Based in Lausanne, he creates furniture where modern lines converse with antique reminiscences, without ever yielding to unnecessary ornament. Each piece is conceived as a presence, precise and restrained, intended for interiors seeking permanence. His work combines noble materials, refined finishes, and a strong sense of proportion, resulting in limited editions with a timeless allure.
The first piece, the Mineral armchair, introduced in 2020, established a vocabulary that continues today: architectural volumes, softened curves, tactile awareness. Mazenauer merges technical culture and imagination to create objects that feel both functional and almost ceremonial. Bronze, an ancient material, often appears as a recurring thread, confronted with decisively contemporary silhouettes. From tables to seating, his creations unfold within a conceptual narrative where past and future respond to one another, and every detail seeks precision. Produced in limited series, they inhabit space with quiet elegance and become reference points for discerning collectors and specifiers.
