JAGDISH SUTAR
Jagdish Sutar is a Milan-based designer rooted in a multigenerational Rajasthani woodworking legacy. Trained within his family’s craft tradition, he later refined his approach in Italy, absorbing a European design sensibility. His work bridges Eastern heritage and Western aesthetics through story-driven furniture made with local artisans. The wider Sutar lineage is anchored by Pratishtha, founded in 1982 by his father Jethabhai and expanded by his brother Revant, now the in-house production partner.
