SALAK
SALAK is the studio founded by interior architect Alicja Korbut, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. The name is an acronym for Studio-Alicja-Korbut. Deeply involved in production, she still hand-paints and turns spheres for selected pieces. Initially inspired by hand-turned wooden elements as a tribute to her grandfather, SALAK evolved around the sphere, now its distinctive aesthetic and structural signature. Every piece is entirely handmade and uniquely crafted, even as the studio ships worldwide.
