Sizar Alexis is a Swedish-Iraqi designer whose work explores geometry, material, and cultural memory. Drawing from his Chaldean heritage, ancient Mesopotamian culture, and Brutalist architecture, he creates sculptural collectible furniture with a distinctive identity. Working primarily with Swedish solid wood, steel, and textiles, his practice combines craftsmanship, architectural forms, and personal narratives, developing contemporary pieces deeply connected to material, heritage, and his own experiences between Iraq and Sweden.
