Nitush Aroosh
Monolith Sculpture
A tall stainless steel column gives the Monolith sculpture its vertical outline. Folded faces and deep recesses interrupt the smooth exterior, drawing light into alternating bands. The irregular upper edge and compact footprint emphasize the height of the freestanding form.

Aroosh and Nitush Mahipal founded Nitush Aroosh in New Delhi, developing furniture, lighting, and objects through sustained experimentation with stainless steel. Drawing on early encounters with their family’s factory, the brothers shape metal through pressure and careful handwork. Reflective surfaces and irregular volumes define their collections, which translate familiar natural forms into contemporary design. Their practice has been presented internationally through exhibitions in Spain and at PAD London in 2025.
