The Red Fear sculpture gives a rounded standing figure a vivid red surface filled with small facial reliefs. Its raised arms and repeated expressions turn an apparently playful outline into a character devoted to the artist’s exploration of fear.

Yoomoota is the art universe created by Bangkok-based multidisciplinary artist Taras Yoom. Drawing on medical and biological studies, he develops sculptures, furniture, paintings and mixed media works reflecting human emotions, habits and desires. Its imagined planets and inhabitants give each object a narrative role. Biomorphic forms, vivid colour and experimental materials connect the collection, turning familiar references into playful figures and objects that question everyday human behaviour and contemporary culture.

Informations

Small facial reliefs cover the body of Red Fear. Each printed face is refined by hand and with tools, then filled with paint using a syringe. The surface has a matte finish.
