The KNOT collection stems from a research-driven creative process rooted in French craftsmanship and innovative metal braiding techniques. Using copper, brass, and stainless steel, the intertwined strands create reflective textures and subtle contrasts. Inspired by Tibetan infinite knots and maritime knots, the collection expresses the symbolism of life’s endless cycle through sculptural, high–craft finishes.
Born in Bordeaux and trained at the École des Beaux-Arts, Vincent Poujardieu is a rigorous designer. He fuses cutting-edge technology with industrial expertise and craftsmanship to create limited-edition or one-off furniture, defined by singular, powerful, sensuous lines. Leading the Poujardieu agency, he focuses on research and development, builds bespoke projects, and exhibits internationally within the collectible design scene. In 2012, he received the “Knowledge of the Arts” prize in Bordeaux.
