Based in São Paulo, Lucas Simões develops an artistic practice shaped by his training in architecture. His research explores the behavior of materials through sculpture, installation and functional objects. Working with concrete, steel, glass and stone, he reveals construction through curves, openings and exposed connections. His Colendra furniture collection extends these investigations into tables, seating and screens, with tactile surfaces and clear forms that engage the body at domestic scale.
